Markkanen, Sexton help Jazz bury Knicks 121-106

SALT LAKE CITY -- Lauri Markkanen scored 34 points, Collin Sexton hit four 3's in the fourth quarter to finish the game with 25 points, and the Utah Jazz ran past the New York Knicks 121-106 on Saturday to snap a four-game losing streak.

John Collins added 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz, and Walker Kessler returned to the lineup and had 11 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.

OG Anunoby scored a season-high 27 points for the Knicks, and Jalen Brunson added 23 points. Karl-Anthony Towns had 16 points and 16 rebounds despite his poor shooting from long distance. Towns, who entered the game shooting 50% from 3-point range this season, went 0 for 7 against Utah.

New York cut the lead to eight in the fourth quarter, but the Jazz responded with 10 consecutive points, capped by Johnny Juzang's 3-pointer to make it 104-86 with 6:16 remaining.

BUCKS 125, HORNETS 119: Giannis Antetokounmpo had 32 points and 11 rebounds, and Damian Lillard added 31 points to lead Milwaukee past visiting Charlotte for their fourth straight win.

LaMelo Ball had a career-high 50 points for the Hornets. He hit 17 of 38 shots, including 6 of 17 beyond the arc.

GRIZZLIES 142, BULLS 131: Scotty Pippen Jr. had a career-best 30 points with 10 assists to lead Memphis past host Chicago. Pippen, playing in the arena where his Hall of Fame father's retired number hangs, had 26 points in three quarters.

TRAIL BLAZERS 104, ROCKETS 98: Anfernee Simons had 25 points and Shaedon Sharpe added 24 as Portland bounced back from a tough loss with a win at Houston. The Trail Blazers were blown out by the Rockets 116-88 on Friday.

SPURS 104, WARRIORS 94: Victor Wembanyama had 25 points, Harrison Barnes added 22, and San Antonio overcame a 17-point deficit to beat visiting Golden State. Wembanyama added nine assists, seven rebounds and three blocks.

MAGIC 111, PISTONS 100: Franz Wagner had 30 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and Orlando defeated visiting Detroit for its eighth win in nine games.

NUGGETS 127, LAKERS 102: Nikola Jokic had 34 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, Michael Porter Jr. added 24 points and 11 rebounds, and Denver won in L.A.
