Since the announcement that Paul Pogba's (31) ban from football had been reduced, the Frenchman has been linked to many clubs, notably Olympique de Marseille. Speaking after OM's win over RC Lens on Saturday evening, Roberto De Zerbi responded to the links.
Pogba saw his lengthy four-year ban reduced to 18 months last month. The ruling from CAS means that the former Manchester United midfielder is able to return to action in March 2025. He had stated a desire to remain with Juventus, even suggesting that he would take a pay cut to do so, however, his contract with the Serie A giants was recently terminated by mutual consent.
As a result, the France international is free to discuss a new contract with other clubs. Pogba, as per ESPN, wants to stay in Europe and sign for a club in one of the top five divisions, opening the door for a move to Marseille. Patrice Evra has been public and insistent in his attempts to facilitate a move to the Vélodrome for his former teammate.
