Adam Brody knows he's got more eyes on him following the success of his latest rom-com, Nobody Wants This.
At the Golden Globes First-time Nominees Luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 17 -- where he was recognized for his role in the hit Netflix series -- Brody, 45, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about how the show has changed his career.

"I've gotten a lot of interesting stuff. My email is fuller than it was," he said.
In the Erin Foster-created series, which has already been renewed for a second season, the O.C. alum stars opposite Kristen Bell (Joanne), a single, agnostic sex podcaster looking for love.
Things get interesting when Joanne meets Brody's character (Noah), a newly single rabbi, through mutual friends.

Though he hasn't quite narrowed down his next gig, he told the outlet "If I'm looking to not do something, it's probably nothing that is too similar to the show. Other than that, quality of writing is a precious jewel and anything well-written, anyone would be lucky to do it."
He also discussed how season 2 is coming along after the series arrived on Netflix in late September.
"I haven't read [scripts]. I don't know, and I kind of don't want to know, just because if I know, I'll start working on it in my head, and I don't want to," Brody told The Hollywood Reporter.
Even though he may not be ready to "start working on it in [his] head," the River Wild star admitted he had a great time filming the series.

"It sounds cheesy, but it was so fun to film. It was so fun to make actually, and it was such a good time with a good group of people that to now be here celebrating it after the fact is an embarrassment of riches," he added.
Before his nomination, Brody, who was featured in PEOPLE's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive issue, discussed his steamy scenes with his costar, 44.
"I knew that we had something that worked, but I had no idea the sort of wide swath of people that would enjoy it. That has been an absolute pleasant surprise," he told PEOPLE of his onscreen chemistry with Bell in November. "I've been doing this a long time, and it doesn't happen often, whoever you are. So it's very gratifying and exciting."
He added that being called "the Hot Rabbi" in the Netflix series felt "good," though "I'm truly not called it all that much to my face."

"That's mostly happening elsewhere online, so it's like it's happening to another person," Brody said. "But I'm not mad at it."
He also recalled reading the season 1 script and seeing an interesting note about the direction of his kiss with the Veronica Mars actress.
"I'm paraphrasing, but it said something to the effect of, 'It's the greatest of all time.' "
