I recently set up a Mac Pro 4,1 that I fully specced out for video editing and 3d modeling. It's working great except for the audio. It's constantly stuttering/sputtering and it's basically impossible to do any kind of audio editing. The CPUs don't go above 10% usage, same with the RAM, so it's not a bottleneck issue. Nothing else lags or stutters either, it's just the audio. I've tried changing the settings in Midi Audio Settings and using a Scarlett 2i2 USB interface, which made it much worse. I also checked the headphone port on the front and line out on the back but both have the same issue. I looked around online for tips but didn't see any definitive answers so hopefully someone can help out! Thanks!
