HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) - Howland Township is making sure its community has the latest information right at their fingertips
The township recently launched its new app called Howland Connect. The app has a calendar of events in the township, department phone numbers, plus answers to frequently asked questions.
It allows people to communicate directly with the township and alert officials about potholes, flooding, and possible zoning violations. Users can also receive push notifications about happenings in the township such as road closures and construction.
"This app, once you download it, you will get a ding and it'll show you what the new post is on there so you can click on it and it'll take you right to it," said Howland Township Trustee Matthew Vansuch.
The app is available to download from both Google Play and the App Store.
