Bills at Rams: How to watch, odds, expert picks as Josh Allen brings MVP campaign to LA

The Buffalo Bills put their seven-game winning streak on the line when they head west to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14. The Bills are road favorites against a Rams team whose playoff hopes are teetering.

Buffalo (10-2) has already clinched its fifth straight AFC East title. Last Sunday night, the Bills posted an impressive 35-10 home rout of the San Francisco 49ers in the snow. Josh Allen is making a case for MVP, including becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to record a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in the same game.

Allen has received plenty of support from his offensive line (13 sacks allowed in 12 games) and running back James Cook, who is tied for third in the league with 11 rushing touchdowns. The receiving corps has dealt with injuries, but this offense is humming with six straight games of 30 or more points.

Los Angeles (6-6) is closer to the NFC West lead than the final wild-card spot. The Rams also have had to weather injuries, especially on offense. Quarterback Matthew Stafford and running back Kyren Williams rank in the top 10 in passing yards and rushing yards, respectively, but wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua have each missed several games. Injuries along the offensive line are why what was a top-10 attack last season currently ranks in the middle of the pack.

This unit must also contend with a Buffalo defense tied for third in the league with 24 takeaways. Contrast that to Los Angeles, whose defense has fared better against the pass (10 interceptions) than the run. The Rams are 28th in rushing defense, giving up 144.2 rushing yards per game, adding to the challenge of facing a Bills team that has stampeded competition for the past two months.
