LELAND, NC (WWAY) -Veterans and their families are invited to a workshop Saturday morning at the Cutler Crossing Community Center in Brunswick Forest. This session will cover key details about healthcare and compensation under the PACT Act.
What to Expect
The workshop is open to all veterans and their families. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and learn about the PACT Act, which provides expanded healthcare, compensation, and other benefits for veterans. Veterans whose claims were previously denied may now be eligible for reevaluation under the new law.
Gerald Decker, Commander of the Leland Veterans Post 12196, encourages veterans to attend. "Veterans are proud, and they don't always ask for help. We need to remind them that help is available, and the PACT Act makes it easier for them to get the assistance they deserve," said Decker.
Event Details
The workshop runs from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday. It is sponsored by the Veterans Creative Arts Program, which will also provide information about their courses and programs for veterans.
