MICHIANA. -- Mishawaka was in the Christmas Spirit this evening, holding their annual Winterfest over at the Ironworks Plaza.
The star of the show was the light parade, community members bundling up in their coats and blankets on this chilly night to watch all the action.
It wasn't just the parade either, as they had ice craving, axe throwing, and lit up the Christmas tree for the season!
While the scheduled drone show was cancelled due to high winds, it was still a fun night for many families to celebrate the holidays.
Elkhart also held their own Winterfest Parade this evening, with hundreds of community members lined the streets while over 50 different organizations marched down the road to get everyone into the holiday spirit.
