Next week, the fast food chain is releasing a limited-edition item that will excite both McRib lovers and sauce enthusiasts, alike -- and just in time for the holiday season.
Starting on Monday, Nov. 25, McDonald's will be selling A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce to celebrate the return of the iconic, saucy sandwich, which will be added back to the menu on Dec. 3.
For the first time ever, the iconic McRib barbecue sauce -- which is typically only available slathered on a boneless pork patty alongside onions and pickles -- will be available for purchase in a half-gallon jug.
The festively decorated condiment jugs will be available to purchase for $19.99 at www.wholelottamcribsauce.com, where a timer is currently counting down to the saucy Nov. 25 drop, which kicks off at 10 a.m. E.T.
Though the A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce jugs will be available online only -- and while supplies last -- it will continue to be available on McRibs, which will be available on the McDonald's App and at participating restaurant locations.
The popular menu item "is more than a sandwich - it's a part of culture, it's a legend, it's an event," Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer at McDonald's, said in a press release.
"McRib SZN is a holiday unto itself," Hassan continued, 'so we wanted to embrace that spirit and give fans an even bigger way to celebrate this year with A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce."

McDonald's' McRib news comes shortly after the chain announced that it is bringing back one of its most festive items: the holiday pie.
Earlier this month, some patrons spotted the beloved treat -- a flaky, buttery pie filled with custard and glazed with sugar and rainbow sprinkles -- at their local McDonald's, and the chain confirmed its return to PEOPLE.
Starting Nov. 15, the holiday pie was added back to the menu "for a limited time only" in select cities: Seattle, Los Angeles, St. Louis, New York City, Cleveland, Memphis and Dallas.
