OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (CBS12) -- Due to low temperatures and wind chills, Okeechobee County opened up warming centers on Tuesday.
The warming center opening is an effort between Okeechobee County and RiteLife Services. According to the county, temperatures are expected to drop below 40 degrees for 8 to 12 hours on Tuesday night.

No weapons, drugs, alcohol, or pets are allowed in the center, the county says.
