The University of Central Arkansas earned its first win under Coach John Shulman at the Farris Center in Conway.
The Bears (1-2) attempted 54 three-pointers and made 16, led by five from guard Layne Taylor. The freshman from Farmington had 18 points and was one of four in double figures, including Elias Cato (19), Cole McCormick (16) and Ben Fox (14).
Cato made 7 of 10 shots to go with 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in 17 minutes.
Randall University (1-4) was led by Cooper Gudell's 15 points, which came from five three-pointers.
UCA guard Brayden Fagbmei led UCA with 11 rebounds and seven assists to go with his seven points. McCormick had four of the Bears' 12 steals.
