Victim Struck by Two Vehicles; Drivers Cooperating with Investigation

A 41-year-old bicyclist was fatally struck by two vehicles early Sunday, Nov. 17, in the 1800 block of Lincoln Boulevard, according to Santa Monica police.

The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. as the bicyclist, believed to be homeless, was traveling southbound on Lincoln Boulevard. Police say the individual was hit by a vehicle and then struck again by a second vehicle. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Preliminary investigations indicate that neither driver was impaired at the time of the collision.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
