Last year the British spotter group UFO Identified documented 395 UK sightings, and although it may not seem like Kent would be a top destination for aliens, there have been many reports across the county.
With nearly 1,000 reported UFO sightings between 2021 and 2023 across the UK, we want to hear from you, our readers, on any experiences you've had in Kent. In Ramsgate, in 2021, one person reported a 'white 'cigar' in the sky with a reflective surface moving in a straight path, which then stopped and hovered.
It seems both Ashford and Maidstone are hotspots for extra-terrestrial activity, with four reported sightings in each town over the past three years. In Ashford, one person said they saw 'several dots of light 'dancing' in the sky above Ashford railway station'. One report in Maidstone read: 'Two spheres brown in colour, both moving very fast and oscillating side-to-side then disappeared into thin air.'
We want to hear from you. Have you seen any UFOs above Kent? You can submit your sighting in the survey below, and have your say on if you believe in extraterrestrial activity.

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that it no longer investigates UFO sightings, citing a lack of evidence of any military threat. Meanwhile, Professor Brian Cox expressed his thoughts on X, saying: "It would be great if true - it would take a bit of the pressure off our civilisation if we weren't the only means within the Milky Way by which the Universe understands itself. Sadly, as of today, I still feel that pressure, so can we perhaps focus on not messing our world up rather than hoping that, to paraphrase Sagan, someone will float down to save us from ourselves."
