Skip Bayless Shames Draymond Green With New Nickname After Latest on-Court Incident

Golden State Warriors forward and four-time NBA champion Draymond Green has turned in a comeback season for coach Steve Kerr's team amid fears that the Warriors' front line was "too small" going into the season.

The Warriors found themselves with a record of 10-3 as of the early hours of Wednesday morning, tops in the Western Conference, and Green's ability to stymy opposing big men, even those with several inches and pounds over him, has contributed tremendously to the team's early success.

On Tuesday, NBA analyst and former Celtics center Kendrick Perkins stated that he believes Green should be suspended for his latest incident, which involved the tripping of Memphis Grizzlies and former Purdue Boilermakers center Zach Edey.

Green tumbled to the floor in a recent game vs. the Grizzlies and rested on Edey's shoe before snagging his ankle and attempting to trip him while he was running back down to the other end of the court.

On Tuesday, longtime ESPN and Fox Sports host Skip Bayless did not mince words in giving Green a new moniker that few saw coming.

"Draymond Green: dirtiest player in NBA history," Bayless wrote in a post that has since been viewed 127,000 plus times on X.

"Very rare W take," one fan said in response.

"Bruce Bowen, Bill Laimbeer and Ron Artest (Metta) were dirtier players," another fan wrote.

"Allow me to fix your sentence: Draymond Green, greatest dirtiest player in NBA history," another fan added.

Green currently ranks seventh in scoring on the Warriors and second in rebounding with nearly six rebounds per game, just behind center Kevon Looney, at 8.4 rebounds per game.

The Warriors are set to take on Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET in another winnable game that could help the Warriors continue their pursuit of first place in the West.
