COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State is a 7.5-point favorite in its College Football Playoff matchup against Tennessee, according to DraftKings.
The Buckeyes and Volunteers will meet at Ohio Stadium on Dec. 21. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. with the game airing on ESPN and ABC.
The matchup will be the second meeting ever between the programs. OSU and Tennessee last met in 1996 when the Vols secured a 20-14 win in the Citrus Bowl.
Tennessee enters the CFP meeting coming off back-to-back wins. After losing at Georgia on Nov. 16, UT beat University of Texas at El Paso and Vanderbilt.
The Vols' best win this season came at home against Alabama on Oct. 19.
Ohio State enters the CFP on a sour note.
OSU ended its regular season with a shocking 13-10 loss against Michigan. That loss also eliminated the Buckeyes' hopes of making the Big Ten championship game.
Of the three major goals, the only attainable left for Ohio State is a national title.
