GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Gwinnett County Police are still asking the public's help in finding details that could solve the murder of an 18-year-old found dead at a house party nearly a year ago.
Shania Geen is the mother of a 7-month-old boy, her aunt said in a GoFundMe. She was killed after a stray bullet hit her while she was inside the home on Chance Lane in Grayson on Dec. 29, 2023.

According to a news release from the department, police believe that someone may have information about the events that led up to the shooting that night.
The GoFundMe, which her aunt started to raise money for her funeral and memorial in January, described Shania as a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter and niece who touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
"She was known for her beautiful, infectious smile and her laughter," her aunt wrote. "She had such a positive energy that she brought everywhere she went."
The GoFundMe describes how Shania could often be found taking care of her son or spending time with family. She had just turned 18 last November.
"She was just figuring out who she was as a young lady and as a new mother, navigating life with grace, compassion and kindness," she said.
She added that Shania "truly left an impact on everyone she has met" and "her glowing personality and respectful manner has left so many people hurting and mourning for such an amazing soul."
