Dmitry Dubovskiy, a principal software development engineer in testing at Malwarebytes, earned recognition from Marquis Who's Who for his work in software quality assurance. With more than 15 years of experience, he has played a key role in developing solutions that improve software reliability and efficiency across the industry.

"My journey in the tech industry began with a strong foundation in telecommunication and English technical translation at Novosibirsk State Technical University," says Dubovskiy. These degrees equipped him with the skills needed to tackle complex challenges in software quality assurance.

Dubovskiy holds two specialist degrees from Novosibirsk State Technical University in Russia. He earned a specialist degree in English translation in the technical field in 2007 and a specialist degree in telecommunication, with a focus on multichannel telecommunication systems, in 2006. Complementing his academic achievements, Dubovskiy is certified by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). He holds advanced-level certifications as a test manager and technical test analyst, both obtained in 2016 and a foundation-level certification obtained in 2013.

Dubovskiy's expertise further expanded during his tenure at News360 in Moscow as a senior quality assurance (QA) engineer in 2016. His journey with Malwarebytes began in Tallinn, Estonia, as a senior QA engineer from 2016 to 2019. He later moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he continued as a senior QA engineer from 2019 to 2020 before being promoted to his current role as principal software development engineer in testing in 2020.

In his current role, Dubovskiy has been pivotal in leading advancements in software testing frameworks and quality assurance methodologies. His inclusion in Marquis Who's Who reflects his standing in the industry, recognizing his influence and contributions to software development and testing.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dubovskiy dedicates time to several civic organizations, such as the National Psoriasis Foundation, U.S., Wikipedia, and Wikimedia.

In his personal life, Dubovskiy enjoys road trips and hiking. He is committed to making a huge impact in the industry, using his engineering expertise to drive projects that benefit both the company and the broader community.
