Leave it to Florence Pugh to spice up an otherwise traditional look.
For the London screening of her latest film We Live In Time, the actor worked with longtime collaborator Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who styled her in a slinky black dress from Rodarte's spring 2025 collection. An embroidered lace insert underneath the bust brought an edge to the silk charmeuse and lace bias dress, while a tie-up detail and puffed cap sleeves added a whimsical flourish.
Naturally, Pugh and Corbin-Murray livened up the look even further, accessorizing with dangling black earrings and towering black peep-toe heels embellished with crystals. The Don't Worry Darling star also swept her short blonde hair into a tousled bob with a deep side part, keeping her makeup soft and feminine with a rosy pink lipstick and smokey gray eyeshadow.
When it comes to a red carpet, Pugh often slips into something lacy, sheer, daring, or all of the above. In 2022, she turned heads -- and sparked harsh criticism -- when she sat front row at Valentino's Haute Couture fall/winter 2023 show in a transparent, hot pink gown.
The actor reflected on the controversial look for a Harper's Bazaar's September 2022 cover story. "I was comfortable with my small breasts," she said. "And showing them like that -- it aggravated [people] that I was comfortable. ... It was just alarming, how perturbed they were. They were so angry that I was confident, and they wanted to let me know that they would never wank over me. Well, don't."
Since then -- and with the help of stylist Corbin-Murray -- Pugh has made her bold personal style clear with plenty of provocative pieces. She's freed the nipple (again), worn a see-through skirt, and even shaved her head out of dedication to her signature look. Though it's impossible to guess what she'll wear next, one thing's for sure: Few can do it like Pugh can.
