ADAM Hose is preparing for action in the 2025 International League T20, taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

The Worcestershire batter could play in a possible ten group matches over 23 days in the competition. It will be his third time taking part in the tournament, and his second successive campaign with Desert Vipers.

Hose initially competed for Sharjah Warriors in the inaugural 2023 iteration of the competition, before making the move to The Vipers in 2024.

He suited up on nine different occasions for The Vipers last year, scoring 147 runs at a strike rate of 123.52.

Desert Vipers will play their first game in the six-team competition against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders on January 12, in the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.

In total, there will be 34 matches, which will decide the two teams that will progress further.

The top two teams will go into the qualifier, which will see the winner then progress on to the final of the tournament.

The final is due to take place in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, February 9.

Hose recently signed on the line for a new three-year deal to extend his stay at New Road.

The deal came following his vital performances as the side secured promotion from the second division in 2023 - form that he continued into the 2024 season, as Worcestershire secured a sixth-placed finish in the top division.

Following the signing, Hose spoke of targeting a top-flight position for the third season on the bounce being the sides' goal for next summer - something that they have not been able to do since the division split in 2000.

Hose will now represent Worcestershire until at least the end of the 2027 season.
