The New York Jets are set to play the Minnesota Vikings in London in Week 5. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is facing his former rival from when he was a member of the Green Bay Packers. Sam Darnold is set to face the team that drafted him in 2018.
There were questions surrounding Rodgers' health earlier this week when he revealed on "The Pat McAfee Show" that he was dealing with soreness after the Jets' 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4.
The Jets listed Rodgers on their injury report Wednesday with a knee injury. He was limited in practice but returned to full participation on Thursday.
Per the Jets injury report released on Friday, Rodgers now has no designation ahead of Sunday's matchup across the pond.
Rodgers has had a solid start to the season, his 20th in the league. He's 82-of-128 passing for 849 yards, five touchdowns and one interception through the first four weeks.
The 3-1 Jets will be facing a Vikings defense that has made life difficult for opposing offenses on the way to a 4-0 start to the season. Defensive coordinator Brian Flores' defense has allowed 59 points in four games.
The Vikings lead the league in sacks (17) entering Week 5. The Jets are fortunate Rodgers no longer has an injury that could make him less mobile against a stiff opponent.
