When I first used this, I was afraid residue might be left on my strands, but I was pleasantly surprised that my strands just felt healthy afterward -- no powder or stickiness in sight.

Although I usually opt for a middle-of-the-road temperature closer to 350, I tested this on the lowest setting and found that at that temperature I had to make a few passes through each section to achieve a slick-straight look.
