Not too long after several complaints regarding touch sensitivity on the iPhone 16 Pro's display arose, it looks like Apple has finally issued a software patch for its devices which addresses the issue, along with some other fixes.
With that said, the iOS 18.0.1 update rolls out for all compatible devices, as well as issues regarding the camera app freezing for some users, the messages app suddenly exiting, as well as problems with audio messages. It still doesn't come with Apple Intelligence however, which isn't set to arrive until iOS 18.1.
Earlier on, several iPhone 16 Pro owners reported issues with touch responsiveness on their devices, particularly when interacting with the edge of the screen near the newly-introduced camera control button. It seems that tapping and holding on the screen near the camera button caused some apps and areas of the display to become unresponsive afterwards.
With all that said, users with the new update should no longer experience the touch sensitivity issue on their devices.
