While the presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party nominee, and Republican former President Donald Trump dominated interest in Tuesday's general election, voters throughout Fresno County were also deciding a slew of other local offices and ballot measures.
Seats were contested on the Fresno County Board of Supervisors; the Fresno City Council and mayoral or council seats in nine other cities; the Fresno, Clovis and Central unified school boards and 13 other school districts; several special districts; and the State Center and West Hills community college districts.
There were also 11 school bond proposals, three sales tax measures, and six miscellaneous ballot measures scattered across the county.
