ANALYSIS: Fantasy managers of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk are tired of hearing the "Jeopardy!" music playing in their heads constantly. Aiyuk has had plenty of chances to get it going but hasn't been able to, for whatever reason. It can't feel good to see fellow WR Jauan Jennings demolishing defenses and Aiyuk taking a back seat.
It's weird because it's not like Aiyuk isn't getting open. The newly signed WR has been beating coverages, he's just either struggled with drops or not gotten the ball in a lot of cases.
He'll be alright. It will just take some time. Still, it can't feel good having drafted him so high and seeing him put up terrible numbers. That's what happens often with holdouts, though. Missing significant portions of practice and training camp, the best time to get up to speed with the offense and quarterback, means that has to happen at the start of the season.
You have to start him and wait for him to hit his stride and build enough chemistry with QB Brock Purdy again to return to his great production.
