Residents are a care home near Newport got a special visit when their local MS popped in to help them celebrate their Christmas jumper day.
HC-One Wales's Quarry Hall Care Home in St Mellons was visited by MS for Cardiff South and Penarth, Vaughan Gething, who was given a tour around the 86-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home.
Residents and staff at the home chatted to Mr Gething about what life is like at Quarry Hall Care Home, which has its own cinema, pub, tearoom, hair salon, lounge, bedrooms and gardens.
Carla Arcanjo, home manager at HC-One Wales's Quarry Hall Care Home, said: "We were delighted to welcome Vaughan Gething to our home. Everyone had a great time, chatting and discussing key issues they care about and what actions can be taken to overcome them."
Mr Gething said: "I was delighted to join Quarry Hall and meet staff and residents for Christmas Jumper Day. Thank you for the warm welcome and I hope to visit again next year."
