An American couple with a passion for travel have ranked Lincoln in their top 10 places to visit in England, describing it as an "underrated gem". Jeremy and Cara run The Magic Geekdom YouTube channel which has more than 65,000 subscribers and 15 million total views.

In February 2021, the pair sold off most of their belongings, put the rest in storage, and set off on an adventure to travel the world. After travelling to many states throughout the US, they took their first big international trip to the UK in March 2022, road tripping all over England and Scotland for a month.

Jeremy and Cara, who say they have fallen in love with Lincoln and Lincolnshire, have spent around eight months in total travelling across the UK over three trips. In a recent video, the couple name Lincoln among their top 10 must-visit places in England.

In the video, Cara said: "This charming city in the East Midlands completely won us over with its incredible cathedral, fascinating history and delightful charm." She later describes Steep Hill as a "postcard-perfect cobblestone street" and Lincoln Cathedral as a "medieval masterpiece".

They also highlighted their love for Browns Pie Shop on Steep Hill and their trip on the Brayford Belle which Cara said was a "unique way to see Lincoln's countryside". She concluded: "The cathedral and castle alone make Lincoln worth the visit. But we found the city to be truly and underrated gem full of pleasant surprises."

Jeremy and Cara previously posted a video titled 'Why You SHOULD Visit Lincoln England' where they document their trip to the city. A total of 76 per cent of the couple's viewers are from the UK.
